     The Sam Campbell Film Clips DVD was created from 5 reels of silent film cut-offs representing portions of many years (covering decades) from Sam Campbell's filming.  These reels were given to Walt Goldsworthy, who was a friend of Sam in his later years.  Many of the animal stories of Sam's books are here represented in his film clips: porcupines, squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs, deer, bears, etc.  If you have read Sam's books, you will be thrilled with the tidbits found on this DVD, as I was when I first had the opportunity to view these reels of often troublesome brittle and fading old film.  Now all who have an interest can watch.
